该报道的英文原文为：“Sources said Hong Kong’s PCCW Ltd chairman Richard Li, who was reported to be keen in buying into Television Broadcasts Ltd (TVB) in mid-2006, had flown to Sibu, Sarawak, with a team of his top executives to meet Tiong last year. Li is the youngest son of Hong Kong billionaire Li Ka-shing.

Following Li’s trip, speculation was rife that the meeting was centred on a possible tie-up between him and Tiong in the media world. Besides TVB, Li was also reported to have bought the Hong Kong Economic Journal for US$35 million (RM122.6 million).”
